This is a large vintage silver plated tray measuring 60cm in length including the ornate handles. The tray is also quite heavy, a characteristic of an era dating back to the 1800’s up to the early 1900’s where the use of a solid metal core was used which provided structural integrity and stability to the tray, making it more durable and less prone to bending or warping, then covered with a thin layer of electroplated silver. The tray is in good shape, just needs a silver polish.
